Job Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
- Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to identify and rectify defects.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancement.
- Analyze data and trends to proactively address potential quality issues and prevent defects.
- Investigate and determine the root causes of quality issues and work closely with relevant teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain comprehensive records of quality inspections, test results, and other relevant data.
- Generate regular reports on quality performance, highlighting areas for improvement and showcasing achievements.
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure the quality of incoming materials, conduct supplier audits, and drive continuous improvement in supplier quality.
- Stay abreast of industry quality standards, regulations, and best practices to ensure the organization's compliance and competitiveness.
- Provide training to production personnel on quality control procedures and standards.
- Foster a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in a quality engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Familiarity with relevant quality assurance frameworks.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
- Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification.
- Experience with statistical analysis and quality management software.
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements.
