- Use pulse welder to assemble fabricated metal assemblies.
- Produce strong penetrated welds that are smooth, non-porous, and consistent.
- Follow the required procedures and use appropriate jigs and fixtures to assist in the assembly process.
- Weld vertical, flat, and overhead with good penetration.
- Maintain/produce a level of output that will minimize production delays.
- Operate equipment in a safe manner and report hazards associated with the equipment or its operation to the appropriate personnel.
- 1 year of experience in welding or fabrication preferred.
- Good communication skills
- Math skills including fractions and angles.
- Ability to read a tape measurer and angle finder.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and cut lists.
- Maintain a positive sense of teamwork, including the ability to maintain regular attendance.
