- Create and maintain hydraulic performance documentation.
- Design, size, select components, and write specifications for hydraulic systems.
- Performs work to design, draw, interpret hydraulic systems, and schematics.
- Evaluate hydraulic components in an efficient manner and troubleshoot potential issues.
- Develop testing protocols and conduct physical testing to evaluate hydraulic system designs.
- Associate degree, technical diploma, or bachelor’s degree in related field surrounding mechanical and hydraulic disciplines.
- Mechanical application skills are required.
- International fluid Power Society (IFPS) Certification preferred.
- Three years of experience with hydraulic design experience preferred.
- CAD skills with SolidWorks or equivalent 3D modeling tools.
- Integration skills for electronics, electro-hydraulic, hydraulic, and mechanical components required.
- System analysis skills, including decision, cost, safety, reliability, and maintainability are required.
- Knowledge of hydraulics including the understanding of pumps, valves, cylinders, and plumbing of components.
- Effective communication skills including verbal and written communication.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- A high degree of self-discipline and self-motivation is required.
- Maintain a positive sense of teamwork, including the ability to maintain regular attendance.
